Soil Senses is designed to operate fully offline. The controller unit does not connect to local Wi-Fi router networks, does not pair via Bluetooth, and does not record or transmit telemetry. We collect:
- Zero botanical growth data.
- Zero soil moisture metrics.
- Zero location tracking from your physical home environments.
Your plant's watering cycles are processed locally on-device and never leave your home.
2. Information We Collect Online
When you checkout or use our contact form, we collect details necessary to process shipping and support:
- Contact Details: Name, email address, and phone number.
- Shipping Location: Street address, city, and pin code.
- Transaction Verification: Razorpay payment IDs generated upon successful payments.
3. How We Use Information
We use transaction data exclusively for:
- Fulfilling your preorder and shipping the physical kit.
- Sending receipt confirmations and order tracking codes.
- Responding to customer support tickets and contact requests.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-party marketing brokers.
4. Secure Payment Processing
Online checkout is conducted using the Razorpay SDK. All inputs (credit cards, net banking, UPI details) are typed directly into Razorpay's iframe overlay. Payment credentials do not cross our server nodes, and we only store the alphanumeric transaction ID for order references.
5. Data Retention
Shipping addresses and contact logs are retained in our secure email logs for tax compliance, warranty validation, and delivery checks. You may request the deletion of your address history from our support database at any time by emailing us.
