Everything you need to know about setting up and running your offline Soil Senses irrigation kit.
No. Soil Senses works completely offline. There are no pairing apps, local network configurations, or cloud server connections. This makes it highly secure, private, and extremely reliable.
The soil moisture sensor continuously checks the electric conductivity (which corresponds to moisture) in the root zone. When the moisture drops below the threshold calibrated for your specific plant type, the controller triggers the mini pump to deliver a measured dose of water, repeating only until the target moisture is restored.
Yes. Each device is calibrated according to the plant type selected during purchase. If you decide to use it for a different plant in the future, you can contact our support team to order an updated calibration code or consult our manual to adjust it yourself using a simple screwdriver selector on the back.
No. Installation typically takes less than five minutes. Simply place the probe, secure the tubing into your pot, connect the pump to a water reservoir (like a carafe or bottle), and plug in the power adapter. Everything comes pre-calibrated and color-coded.
Very little. Occasional cleaning of the sensor contacts and checking the water tubing for mineral blockages is recommended. Mostly, you just need to refill your water reservoir when it runs empty.
